Aug 29, 2019 · Adult learning programs are for Ontario residents ranging from 19 years old through to seniors of any age. If you are not currently attending a college or a university, life-long learning can help you: earn credits for an Ontario high school diploma; upgrade your skills to prepare for college, university, apprenticeship training or employment. A minimum of two semester credits must be completed in the adult school of the Sweetwater Union High School District to receive the diploma. Supplemental Methods of Earning Credit: In compliance with California Education Codes, the following methods of earning credit may be used: Previous High School Courses; Career Technical Education (CTE).

If the student earns fewer than 4 credits in each subject area, the principal will determine how the student can obtain the remaining credits.

PLAR is a process used to evaluate learning received outside the education system. With PLAR you can fast track your Grade 9 and 10 credits. Motivated students are able to complete Grades 9 and 10 within a 2 month time frame. You will need to complete lessons and assessments in 4 areas: English, Math, History/Geography, and Science.
