PrestaShop sets itself apart from the rest because it’s completely free shopping cart software that’s also open source (anyone can change its code at will), and it comes with some advanced features that you’ll only find in the upper tiers of other shopping carts’ pricing plans. For example, PrestaShop comes with automated engagement and cart abandonment recovery emails. Another nice feature is having the ability to manage customer accounts and being able to customize the forms to make the experience better.
EDD holds the crown for digital products. This is a solution that was made just for selling non-physical goods, so all you have to do is install the plugin and upload the items to your dashboard. Both Buy Now and Add to Cart buttons come along with EDD, and customers can save their carts and their past files to come back and download them later. Another primary reason EDD is the top solution for digital goods is that of the file access control. Basically, this means that you can specify how many people can download the file, or even make the file inaccessible after a certain period of time.

Why settle for a WooCommerce plugin when you can do so much more? As you can see from the above list, Formidable can connect you to PayPal and overhaul every single form on your site. Not to mention connect all your different apps together.
That’s it for the installation. Now head to the settings screen (under the Settings >> WP Shopping Cart menu) to enter values into the required fields.
